Nenad Maksic Partizan coach and cadet national team of Serbia gladly accepted to comment on the announcement of today’s competitive match of the day (January 15). After a great playing career at Red Star, Prevent, Celje and Partizan, with 127 appearances for the national team of the former Yugoslavia and won two bronze medals at the World Championships in 1999 and 2001 and decided to transmit their knowledge to the younger. Here is his opinion about today’s matches:
Group A: France-Norway, Brazil-Japan?
– I think that regardless of the two victories of Norway in the first two rounds, the host is an absolute favorite. In the second game to give priority to Brazil in relation to Japan, because they have players who have played two matches better.
Group B: Island-Tunis?
– Iceland is favovit against Tunisia because it has better team and players who play in the best clubs in Europe.
Group C: Chile-Germany, Saudi Arabia-Belarus?
– The game of the Chile-Germany I think there is no doubt over the winner, while the match-S.Arabia Belarus are possible all three outcomes.
Group D: Sweden-Argentina, Qatar-Bahrain?
– Sweden is for me the favorite against Argentina because Argentina except for a few individuals can not be a team to compete with the Scandinavians and it showed against the Danes. Qatar is an absolute favorite against Bahrain without unnecessary comments.
