The Slovenes gathered, with great ambitions, after winning the bronze medal at the world championship in France.
Vujovic said he expects his team to be at the highest level in that championship, but stressed that he is facing a difficult job in the first phase.
As a potential surprise, Montenegro expects.
– It’s a team with perhaps the most talented bachelorette line in Europe, with great young players. It would not surprise me that in the first match, Montenegro will beat Germany, Vujovic said.
He pointed out that Group C – is the most important at the championship.
– It’s not the strongest, but everybody can win. Germany is European champion, Macedonia has Lazarus and players in big clubs … But everything will be seen on the field, and the result depends on many factors – daily forms, judicial decisions, injuries … We are preparing to give the best we have, said Vujovic .
Slovenia plays its first match on January 13 with Macedonia. then follows January 15th match against Germany and end with Montenegro on January 17th.
