The experienced expert will succeed Mirko Mikić, who should remain in the professional staff of Banja Luka, as an assistant.
An experienced expert born in Cetinje in 1961, he has a rich playing and coaching career behind him. The former Yugoslav national team player played for Lovćen, Metaloplastika, Barcelona and Granollers until 1995, when he turned to coaching.
He started his coaching career in Sabac, ie Metaloplasitica, after which he led Partizan and Ciudad Real, and at the same time in 2000 he took over the coaching position in the then FR Yugoslavia, and later in Serbia and Montenegro. He was the coach of Vardar and Zagreb on two occasions, he also served as the selector of Macedonia and Slovenia, with whom he has a bronze medal, while he still sat on the bench of Nis Railways and Koper, Qatar’s Al Sadd and Al Shabab from Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
His last engagement was in PPD Zagreb, which he left at the end of May last year due to personal reasons.
