In accordance with its mission and the task of constantly improving professional work in sports, including handball, while respecting and signed a cooperation agreement with RSS, Faculty of Sports invites all interested students, colleagues, teachers, the media and other interested public to take part in the work of the expert meeting, in the form of a round table on the topic „Baseball Today and Tomorrow?“, which is organized in partnership with the RSS.

The immediate reason for the organization of such a professional gatherings recently completed World Cup for juniors in Brazil, to which, of all ex-YU republics, placed only Serbia (!), Ended the competition in 17th place in the consolation group … In Thus, for the last five World Cup for men’s U-21 selection, placements of Serbia 1986. year did not participate in 1988 year – did not participate in 1990 year – 18th place, 1992 year – 10th place, 1994 year – 17th place … Not a big competition for the younger age categories in the men’s competition, in the last ten years, we had an individual who had fought for some of the individual awards (best scorer, MVP, a member of the ideal setting, the best goalkeeper, defender player)? Unfortunately, plenty of arguments to wonder what tomorrow will bring Serbian handball?

Organization of the Round Table would like to hear the experiences of others with whom we share a similar approach to the selection, we have similar problems and, ultimately, come from the same school of handball, and that together (Faculty and RSS) try to become leaders in the region, the next step ahead in the finding solutions, and by example – through discussion, openness, knowledge and objectivity, forestall future, changing and establishing some new contacts and forms of cooperation, which all of us can only bring good, to be better and more successful.
