The European Handball Federation has published the results that is being conducted at the end of each season in the EHF Champions League. The best coach comes from Montpellier, Patrice Canayer
The finale of the season – Final4 tournament of the EHF Champions League is held on Saturday and Sunday at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, where three French teams and Macedonian Vardar will write new pages of the history of European handball.
Even three out of four Coach Final4 participants felt the delight of winning. However, Raul Gonzales only celebrated in Cologne for the new F4 format, while Patrice Canayer with Montpellier in 2003 and Zvonimir Noka Serdarusic with Kiel four years later, won the cup in the classic final with two matches at home and away.
Only Teri Anti, Nantes coach, did not have the opportunity to win a cup dedicated to the winner of the EHF Champions League. The Frenchman lost three finals – two in the EHF Cup with Nantes and one as coach of Crete at the beginning of the coaching career in 1989 in the Cup Winners’ Cup. That same year, Anti became the champion of France.
