Metalurg is satisfied with the opponent, which was determined by the draw for the first round of qualifications in the Europa League. But Metalurg’s experienced coach, Zoran Kastratovic, believes that no team coming from Croatia should be underestimated.
- It is a semi-conducted draw, so it was possible to predict who could be our opponent. It is about the team Spacva from Vinkovci, which comes from Croatia, and it is about the country that is the current vice-champion of Europe. That is why we must not underestimate the opponent and we will not relax. For now, we do not have quality information about our rival, but we will try to get it as soon as possible. The meeting with Spacva will be our first official match in the new season. It is quite certain that we want to enter the season with a victory, but we want to form a game in the next five weeks by which Metalurg will be recognizable. Our main goal is to play in the group stage of the Europa League, concluded Kastratovic.
