Serbian women’s handball national team coach Ljubomir Obradovic said today that his team won the first place in the group with a goal in qualifying for the European Championship.
– We achieved the goal by winning the first place in the group – said Obradovic, the Handball Federation of Serbia reports.
Serbia has won the first place in the group since it won in Macedonia in the last round of qualifications for the European Championship at 35:30.
– We have had a number of technical errors today, the concentration is at a lower level than it should be. Macedonia has given strong resistance … A nice game that ended favorably for us. I congratulate the girls on the EP, and I want Macedonia best in the next qualifying cycle – said Obradovic.
The handball players of Serbia qualified with five wins and defeats, enough to find themselves in front of the fourth national team of the world, Sweden, and so they chose a more favorable place ahead of the draw which will be held on June 12 in Paris.
