The women’s national team of Serbia trained on Monday and Tuesday in Belgrade ahead of the way for Slovenia, where the best Serbian handball players on Wednesday (Kočevje – 18) and Saturday (Celje – 19 hours) will play two friendly matches with host selection, all within preparation for European Championship held in December in France. Selektor Ljubomir Obradović said that he was satisfied with the work of the national team:
– All the girls are ready except Maria Colic. Her injuries require seven to ten days break in the doctor’s opinion, therapy, so we have freed her first part. We gathered in the EHF Sunday to correct some things, and some of them are added to what is ahead of us at the European Championship. We are waiting for three heavy and different opponents. Dunkins played a deep zone formation at the last championship, 3-2-1 or even 1-5, we have time to analyze. Poles will surely play 6-0 defense, we have already played with the Swedes, we know their quality. The focus of preparation will be on these two matches. The matches with the Slovenians will serve to check what we did on the trainings, and then we hope that no girl will be injured until November and the beginning of the final preparations – says the coach Obradovic.
