Serbian handball National team play in Sunday at 6 pm in Nis against Portugal, the first match for the World Championship to be held next year in Germany and Denmark.
Serbian men’s handball national team coach Ljubomir Obradovic said today that his team will go to both victories in the double championship for the World Cup against Portugal and wants to make a cult of national team.
– We are waiting for two challenging and awkward matches. Every defense is important, each ball, each goal. This is not a match for victory alone, but for the number of goals. The guys are eager, ornate and able to pass the barrage and make a selection for the World Cup. Let’s win in Nis and in the guests. We want to make a cult of national team, to see that these guys do not want to respond, that it does not represent anything for Serbian handball, that new players come in, „Obradovic said.
The selector said that the small problem is that the team was only complete on Wednesday, but that it is trying to make up for it.
– We have to keep an eye on the freshness that you need to have on Sunday. We have the maximum respect, we do not underestimate, nor overestimate the rivals. I would invite all fans from Nis and Serbia to cheer our selection to pass to the World Cup. The fans know how to do it, let them unite from all the clubs – Obradovic concluded.
