Lino Cervar leaves PPD Zagreb

Lino Červar leaves the PPD Zagreb bench. An experienced expert who took over the Croatian champion last summer, earlier than he could have guessed, would leave the bat to his assistant, Tonci Valcic.

– We have two more games and several of them in the SEHA league before the SP. We are convinced that we are losing against Celé and we are not at all happy. Now I have to begin to turn to the national team, to say better to the national teams. We have to form the headquarters for all selections because next year we have three SPs, with our SP A national team, U-20 in Spain and cadets in Macedonia. Still, I’m proud of the boys, although the last one, because we have the same number of points as last year at the end of the group, and we have remained without the brothers Valčić, Vorija, Pavlović, Miklavčić and many more players. Of course, we fell very bad in the second half in Celje, but life is full of climax and crashes, said Cervar.
