Croatian national team coach Lino Červar promises a lot of work until the start of the European Championship in Split on January 12th.
Croatian national team started work in Ivanić Grad, where in two stages it will spend the period until January 1, when it will be moving to Split, where the bronze medalists will play first phase matches with Serbia, Iceland and Sweden in Poland in the last EP 2016:
– In the first part of the preparations, we will deal with players and opponents. We will focus on play, work, training, analysis – all that’s needed for a big competition. It makes it difficult for us not to be all players on preparations, but we should not cry but adapt to the situation. What is important now for the first phase of the preparation is to activate the players physically, technically, tactically and mentally. We will work on everything, from individual work and group work to further. I have a lot of ideas, and how much we can accomplish, we’ll see during the preparation. In order to better play at the European Championship and get to where we all want, I have to learn that the players need a lot of renunciation, effort and sweat, because nothing is given, „said Cervar
