The Croatian women’s senior national team gathered in Zagreb, and immediately after testing for the corona virus, they set off for Poreč. There, he will make the final preparations for the European Championship, which should take place from December 3 to 20 in Denmark.
The national team was struck like a bolt from the blue by information from Koprivnica about the new breakthrough of the corona virus in Podravka Vegeta, from which the most important handball players of the national team come. In addition, Ana Debelić could not come from Russia, so she will later join the team, as well as Ćamila Mićijević. Due to that, the selector Nenad Šoštarić was forced to call Ines Domjan from the reserve list.
-Like everyone else, we will start with the preparations and try to see where we are first, purely physically, because each player has a different rhythm of training and matches. After that, we will spend the preparations on tactical variants in order to enter the championship as ready as possible – said the selector Šoštarić at the gathering.
