Kasim Kamenica can not even forget the match with Metalurg in Skopje ten days ago.
– I was again disappointed with the approach of the players and entering the match, and this was repeated for the second time after the Belgrade tournament – says Kamenica.
– We had a plan to try to surprise Metalurg to leave the bottom of the table … However, the team’s response was very modest and after the disastrous first half it was not easy to get back, although, to a certain extent, we managed to do it, but insufficiently for a final turn.
Did something happen with Kamenica in terms of ambitions with Novi Sad people?
– I know why I came to conquer, and I do not lose trophies. However, I am a bit surprised by the fact that the team is so neglected. That worries me, it will be a problem for the Cup match with Dinamo, the file for the Cup of Serbia, which is relatively early, and I am confident that we will look to play in the playoffs. It’s enough time to spend a cycle with them after which the players will look much better, more professional, more disciplined and better in the game. Now, it’s just a problem to deal with these short-term goals, and the club needs results, successes, trophies, and it exists at the same time – says Kamenica.
