The last obstacle to Vojvodina on the way to the group phase of the EHF CUP is the Danish GOG with which the Serbian champion will meet tomorrow in Novi Sad, and in a week will be followed by a revue in Gudmeu. The coach of Vojvodina, Boris Rojevic, in addition to the great staff problems, has played the role of favorite of the dancers.
– Seven-time champion of Denmark is coming to us, the team that is fighting for the title this year, and Flensburg won in the preparatory work, all this speaks about the quality of the opponent. If I had listed all the problems we would have taken, but we will try to recover as many players as possible and some will play and cheat like the young Jovica Nikolic. If the health bulletin would have been better, it would surely have more chance, and this is how GOG is an absolute favorite.
Many times this year we have shown that we know how to play with strong teams and that is extremely good. I think it will be the same this time. They’ll have to work hard to get us through. Each player gives himself over the maximum and with this giving he can win even better. I hope that we will have a good evening and I would personally be pleased with any victory.
Rojevic gives a big chance to young players and often on the back line I have guys who have about 18 years on average, but they are without pardon worn by more experienced rivals.
