Preparations for the new season Metallurg players will start on July 29, when the first meeting with new coach Damiro Stojanovic on Autokomanda is scheduled.
For Metalurg’s handball team, this season starts in September with the match of the Super Cup of Macedonia in which the opponent will be opponent Vardar, and the start of the Super League game is scheduled for September 7 and 8. From July 29 to August 5, he will train in the hall on the autocomand, and from August 6 to 12, he will go on preparations for Kopaonik, where the team will work on physical and technical-tactical preparation.
– Getting acquainted with the plan and program of work and setting the goals for the season will be the topic of our first meeting, scheduled for July 29th. After that, in Skopje, we will train seven days to adapt the new players and coaches to each other, and then prepare to continue on Kopaonik where we will increase the intensity of work and where we will begin by creating a base for all the efforts that we expect, Stojanovic said.
In preparation for the new season, Metalurg will take part in two tournaments in the second half of August, the first in Russia (Moscow) and the other in Serbia (Kanjiža).
– After completing preparations for Kopaonik, we are briefly returning to Skopje from where we are going to the Moscow tournament organized by Chekhovka Medveda. This tournament will be the beginning of the team’s composition, and the next tournament in Kanjiža will be used for the final technical-tactical preparation of the team. August will be closed with a match in Leskovac, and by the beginning of the season we will hold a match in the hall on Autokomanda, concluded Stojanovic.
On the first tournament in Russia (August 15-19), Metalurg will have the Belarusian champion Meshkov Brest, Romania’s Steaua and host, Russian champion, Chekhov’s bear, and at the tournament in Kanjiža (August 22-25) Metalurg will play with Nexe -om, Partizan and Ramat Hasharon from Israel.
