Due to the cessation of competition in Greece due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Croatian expert and the Greek Olympiacos differed amicably in the half-season. The first coach was Greek coach George Karasavvidis, who was already the coach of the senior team from 2017 to 2019. Until now, he took care of the Olympiacos Academy.
- First, let me say that I am very happy to be back in the A team. My acquaintance with most of the players will allow us not to waste time until we find the chemistry. We want to give weight to Greek players and even young people. Organizationally, all together, we will try to create a new philosophy in team building. The big goal is to bring the team back to European handball when the opportunity arises. .
