Danish coach Kim Rasmussen is the new selector of the women’s senior handball national team of Montenegro

Kim Rasmussen will make his debut at the upcoming European Championship in Denmark, with Montenegro, where the rivals, in addition to the hosts, will be the current champion of the Old Continent – France and the selection of Slovenia.

Rasmussen’s first associates will be Bojana Popović and Gojko Vučinić, who, as in the men’s national team, will cover the position of goalkeeper coach.

In his career, Ramusen led the Romanian CSM Bucharest, with which he won the Champions League trophy in 2016, and since this year he has been on the bench of the Polish MKS Lublin.

With the Polish national team, he reached the semifinals of the World Cup twice – in 2013 and 2015. He was also the selector of the Hungarian national team, whose bench he left after the World Cup in Japan, in December last year.

RSCG terminated the contract with the current coach Per Johanson yesterday.
