The handball players of Vojvodina will welcome Kikinda Grindex in the 6th round of the ARKUS league on Wednesday at 6 pm. The Novi Sad team did not play the match against Spartak in Subotica in the previous round due to the unfavorable situation with Kovid-19, and against Kikinda, coach Boris Rojević will be in great trouble with the formation of the team.
- Unfortunately, we have been training without half the team for 10 days. Some are infected with the virus and we immediately isolated them, and some have the usual injuries. All players from the team were tested several times, so that only those who were proven to be healthy remained in training. We have players who do not feel any symptoms, but the test showed that they are positive and of course they are also in isolation and when we add players who have other types of diseases or injuries then we come to a figure of only 10 players that we practically count on. I hope that someone else will join the match with Kikinda, which we respect very much. It is a team that wants to outplay itself, and regardless of the fact that Vojvodina is the absolute favorite, it needs to be proven on the field. It is a pity that just when we entered a good rhythm of the game level, but also the results, it happens to us again that we are decimated in the roster, but when we have overcome such situations so many times, we will do it this time as well – said coach Boris Rojevic.
