Rolando Freitas, who has been in the Holy Land for two seasons and who is in charge to all younger selections of Israel national teams as technical director, has been replaced by Serbian expert Alexander Brkovic this season, on the bench of juniors of this country.
He will led the junior team in January 2021 at the European Championship, which should main in Croatia. Israel is in a group with Denmark, Germany and Hungary.
- We got a very interesting and difficult group with Denmark, Germany and Hungary. That teams finished in the top five at the World Championships under 19, we hope to finish under 21 so that we can get to the place that would take us to the World Championships. This is one of the most difficult tasks or we should be proud and happy because we qualified for the good teams and the best team in Europe, concluded the experienced Portuguese expert.
