Ahead of the debut but also the historic game, Eurofarm Rabotnik in the regional SEHA Gazprom League, Macedonian coach Stevce Alusovski, stressed that the main goal is to start the season with a win, but also to finish fourth in the group.
Alushovski’s chosen ones will have a premiere on Wednesday, from 8 pm and 45 minutes, when they will also welcome their league debut in front of local fans – Spartak from Moscow.
“We had good and difficult preparations, but we also had quality matches. Honestly, I look forward to seeing practically European matches after 14 years. Our first opponent has high quality. They have a couple of Russian players in the lineup. I expect a good and hard game. Ours is to make the most of this match and to win. “
Alushovski has some personnel issues ahead of the match against the Russians, as a couple of players complain about injuries, but points out that this team can do without anyone.
„As for the players for tomorrow’s match, we have a couple of problems. In particular, Kukoski and Mitrevski complained of injuries. As a player and as a coach, I have always said that without everyone, one can. The season is long and there are many tough matches ahead. “
In addition to the two teams mentioned, the B Group of the regional SEHA Gazprom League also includes Meshkov Brest, Veszprem, Metaloplastika and PPD Zagreb.
„We expect to be behind favorites in this part of the season – Meshkov Brest, PPD Zagreb and Veszprém – which means we will be in fourth place.“
The meeting between Eurofarm Rabotnik and Spartak Moscow is scheduled for Wednesday at 8:45 pm.
