An excellent result for Georgia and Maksimovic Nikola in the Emerging Nations IHF tournament. A tournament was held where all 7 of 7 winnings were recorded and this is the first trophy in the history of Georgia in this competition. As the best-placed European team, they qualified for the European Championship in 2022.
The wins were held in the group, Malta, Ireland, Bulgaria, Nigeria and USA, while in the semifinals they were convincingly celebrated against Great Britain and in the final against Cuba.
