Nenad Perunicic, Serbian national handball team’s coach , acknowledged that he is aware of the worst placements in the World Cups ever and that he has to work with players to improve the mental setup.

– Our players are not big stars, but they can be and should be proven. I did not like some things against Bahrain and Argentina, I’m trying to change them because there must always be a motive. I told them „there is my selection and natural selection of players“ because I am not satisfied with the reaction of individuals. Not playing for the highest ranking, I am aware that it is the worst in history, but I am aware of why I am here – said Perunicic.
As the biggest problem, he sees rhythm in the game, that is, he attributes to a mental reaction.
– We can change the entire system, but players have to change themselves if they think that in the shortest possible time we will be even better
