For the third year in a row, the best coach from the former Yugoslavia is Veselin Vujovic in the Balkan-Handball.com selection! The national team of Slovenia won the highest number of votes of the members of the jury and visitors of the site (the last jury member) in the turbulent season, which began with the break with PPD Zagreb, but also got a historic connotation by winning the bronze medal at the World Championship in France last January.
Vujovic won a total of 44 votes, leaving behind coach RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko, Branko Tamsea (30) and coach of Metalurg, respectively, Croatia’s selector and formerly Macedonia, Lin Cervar (28). In fourth place was the coach of Buducnost Podgorica and women’s national team of Montenegro, Dragan Adzic with ten, and his point was less won by his colleague from the male national team, Dragan Djukic
