Serbian national team was defeated by the selection of Germany 19:26 in the first match of the main phase of the EP in 2016 in Gothenburg, but there is still the chance of a high ranking on the first big competition in the new Olympic cycle, a brief statement gave selector Dragica Djuric:
– We did not show a game like we had in the first part of the competition. Rubbish we opened the match and missed a lot of shots at the start. We were afraid of the goalkeeper Klare Voltering and the whole match we managed to get into the rhythm we had in Stockholm. We have still a chance for the big prize. We must forget this match, but also to conduct an analysis and see what can be better. We fell energy, we have the strength to stand up physically dominant team of Germany.
