Buducnost has provided better performance in defense than in the first mutual duel in Germany, and all the players have contributed to the new win against the champion of that country, said coach Dragan Adzic after his triumph (28:19) against Thüringer in the fourth round of the Champions League.
Adzic said that he believed that his team can provide even better performance in Metz in the next round, in a duel that will be decisive in the fight for the first position in the group.
– Gratitude to the audience for their great support. I am glad that we managed to play defense better than in the first leg in Germany and that we better back in defense. All this inspires optimism ahead of the heavy roaming in Metz, which will be crucial to the first position in the group. We had several players who were doubtful, but they all contributed and it is important that we raise the level of play compared to the previous match. I believe we can be even better in Metz and that we can achieve a new victory which would mean the transfer of the maximum number of points in the main round, which was our goal for this year, said Adzic.
